Imagine a fish trying to answer the question, "How would you describe water?" That is the challenge for humans wanting to share their journey with that which they know to be more--more than they are, more than this trouble, more than this era, more than we know.
Blessedly, there is often a longing in the human heart for connection--connection to one another and to that which transcends the everyday. Spiritual Direction is about the care and feeding of that space. It is about nurturing and growing the place in our hearts where we breathe deeply the goodness of the Holy ever in our midst.
